WHY VOTE YES

ELECTION DAY • MARCH 17

FIVE REASONS TO VOTE YES

#1 • Our Schools Are Old And Need Updating

William Holliday Elementary and Pontiac Junior High were built decades ago, long before today’s safety, accessibility, and learning standards. Delaying repairs only makes problems worse and more expensive. Now is the time to act.

#2 • Safety And Accessibility Can’t Wait

State-identified Health and life violations issues must be fixed by law. This proposal would improve security, fire safety, classroom doors, and accessibility, so every student can learn safely.

#3 • Crowded Schools Hurt Learning

Our schools are out of space, and some students are learning in hallways because no classrooms are available. Building a new school would reduce crowding and give students the space they need to succeed.

#4 • Fixing Problems Together Saves Money

Addressing safety, space, and aging systems at the same time avoids years of temporary fixes, repeated disruptions, and rising repair costs. One smart plan is better than endless, costly patches.

#5 • Strong Schools Protect Our Community

Well-maintained schools help protect property values, strengthen neighborhoods, and support the future of our community. Investing in our schools is investing in what matters most.
